24 The comments section will be open our chat room, so don't hesitate to you know, put your comments in, let us know where you're listening from or watching from, and that would be a great help to us so that we can you know, get more information out. So tonight we want to talk about something that seems to be almost at an epidemic level that so many pet owners are faced with. And you know, fortunately we don't seem to show the same symptoms, although we can we can look at it in various different ways and help me out with this on it's going to be on skin and ear disease, which we'll discuss whether it's really a disease or not. I've got my special friend and guest doctor Michael dimm and if he can come out into his room here there he is.
13 How you doing, Doc, How you doing to Bill? Great to be here as always. Yeah, fresh off your trip to the world of homeopathy. And it was a great meeting you know out in Arizona. A lot of good, good veterinaria gathering and a lot of good information and you know it's not a large group, but it's a close group, so it's always enjoyable. Yeah, I was gonna say it's kind of tough too, I mean I was thinking about it, you know when you said you were there. That's going to be a hard meeting to do every year, or you know, on a regular basis, since homeopathy really hasn't changed much in what several hundred years.
55 Right now, that's very true. But you know, there are newer ways of analyzing cases. New're technology in terms of software that a lot of my colleagues used for analyzing cases. You know, there's always you know, presentations of you know, remedies that we often don't think of. This theme this year was on less common you know, homeopathic remedies and situations. But it's always great to meet with like minded people. It was my teacher, doctor Pitt Karon's eighty fifth birthday celebration, so we we all enjoyed that. And you know, we've been having this meeting in a ranch in Mesa for twenty five years and I've been to most of them, so you know, it's always always fun.
44 Yeah, it sounds like it. So you know, I'm confronted with and I know you're confronted with the same thing. My dog is itching, my head is itching, the chronic chronic chronic ear issues. We we know that the core, of course, is toxicity and efficiency. That's right. However, because we're not we don't know all the chemicals and the toxins that we're dealing with. We also don't know, you know, if you and I know if they're not feeding a species appropriate diet that they were not getting you know, the you know, a good rotational diet that balances out the body. We also know that unless you're doing some herbals and botanicals and things like that, you're not getting the essential minerals that the body needs in order to balance itself out and keep itself healthy. And it's it becomes basically it's like pulling teeth with owners as to what they're really doing, isn't it.
43 Sure is, and it's it's a challenging situation for all of us, whether you're a conventional that or holistic that, because the client wants their animals to be comfortable, and there's nothing more uncomfortable. It's not like, I. Mean, we don't know what it feels like. Obviously, I've had an ear infection before and it's not or an ear inflammation is a better word, and it's not comfortable. But you know, clients and veterinarians have a hard time watching animals go through symptoms, and especially when it's of the skin and ears, And that's one of the more common areas of medicine where my colleagues and many clients want quick relief results, and that suppression can be very damaging to the body.
28 As I know, we'll get into right exactly. It's it's, you know, it's one of those hard things, even when we think we're on the right path keeping clients basically compliant, because if you're cleaning ears, they don't want to be messing with that, you know, on a daily basis. Even getting them to add in you know, herbs and botanicals and homeopathy and things like that on a regular basis. Our lives are just too complicated and you know, too filled. We don't have the hours in the day to take care of this stuff. But and the other side of that, forty years ago, we didn't have these problems. Oh at all. Yeah, I mean, you know, one of the topics at the meeting, interestingly enough, one of the lecturers who has a kiddy only practice is saying, how we're now seeing cats with chronic ear issues now, and I should have you know, basically nothing in their pristine ears. And when you have discharge and wax, it's all part of it's not normal, just like it's not normal in a cocker spaniel's ears. People say, well, I've got a floppy eared dog, I've got a bassett, I've got a cocker spaniel. I've got a dog who swims. Therefore he must have a tendency to ear issues, and that's just not true.
41 Yeah, I can't figure out how that the water in ear has become such a culprit. You know, you know, most animals swim frequently, they bathe themselves. That water isn't isn't unless it happens to be terribly terribly contaminated. We shouldn't be doing any of that because the bodies get defense systems. They keep it from getting deep in the ear and causing the problems. What we are seeing, though, is not stuff that's being put into the ear. It's stuff coming from inside the body. And that's I think we're fundamentally both doctors, veterinarians and pet owners don't realize that all that gunk's coming from inside. It's not growing just on the outside in a sterile environment or even in the contaminated environment, because the ear shouldn't be contaminated.
36 That's coming from deep inside. That's right. And then of course with western allopathic medicine's obsession with a diagnosis, so what does my animo have? And you know, veterinarians, now the big thing that I see that a lot of my colleagues do, will make swabs of the ear and look for east or bacteria, various types, and then go back in the examine them and tell clients, oh, animal has a nasty bacterial infection in his ear. Therefore we have to use a really strong medication. And interestingly, you know, the medicines that are used typically are the same type of medicines over and over again. It's usually a steroid spressing inflammation and discharge, and antibiotic and an anti fungal to cover any ease component. But as you and I both know, those are just secondary, secondary organisms that are not the primary problem. They're just coming in after the fact.
34 You know, well, I mean, if you did, you know, I've for many, many years taught a lot of rumors about ear cleaning and even veterinarians, you know, to do proper flushes to get the debris out. You know that waxy discharge and stuff like that. Well, once you take that out, you don't have anything for bacteria to grow on. You don't have anything for fungus to grow on. So you know, it's that tungle or bacterial growth is the result of having contaminants on the outside parts of the body because that inner ear is still part of the outside of the body. You know, we're not going deep and just flushing that out. While it will help with that kind of stuff, where the antibiotics aren't going to do any good anyway, as you all know, and you know, the inflammation is going to be you know, we have to look at where is that that irt that inflammation basically starting, and you know, I think we have to look at the gut, We have to look at the liver, We have to look at the kidneys, you know, and then of course the lymphatic system which is all attached to that. And that's what it is, is basically that those lymphanodes are trying to get rid of all that toxin from deep inside because the liver is already challenged.
53 That's right right In animals, because they have such a high vibrational life force, their life force is going to try and push out to the outside. However, it can get their toxins. And you know the fact that they use the ears and the skin through eruptions and hotspots and discharges shows you how vibrant and vital these animals are, which is unlike people, where we get toxic. We don't normally have stuff coming out of our ears, but animals do. And that's because their bodies are strong. They're trying to say, hey, you know, this is an issue here. It's kind of like the engine light going on in the car, you know, and you have to pay. Attention to it. What's what that means? And as you just eloquently put it, it signals often a problem very deeper in the body, you know, starting at the gut and involving the execratory organs and of course ultimately the lymphatics.
43 Is it is you know, it's just interesting that the approaches. But it's been like skin skinny skin and itch and ear and fitch iron so called ear episodes, if you will, just have basically evolved in veterinary medicine into just a cash cow. That's true. You know, the you know, clients will go in, they get an ear culture they'll spend three hundred dollars on that to see what's. Growing in the ear. And then let's of course not forget how allopathic medicine looks that causes. They try to look at their version of causes of the ears issues, and they do hone in on diet nowadays, but unfortunately, their answer to chronic ear issues is often these awful diets, which I know we can get into that are you know, often called hydrolyzed protein diets, which are synthetic diets that are broken down into small molecular proteins that supposedly the animal can't react to. But they're often made with bird feathers and other indigestible things, and the quality of those of those diets is just is just horrific. And then they'll use weird protein is like ostrich and alligator and you know, all sorts of different you know, rab not rabbit, but just even more exotic proteins, and they're trying to look at it, but they're of course, their answer is commercial kibble.
13 And that's, as you and I know, hardly the answer for inflammation the body. Well, you know, it's interesting you brought that up too, because one of the one of the issues, of course, that I talk about a lot. I also talk about living water and that sort of thing to flesh out. If you're feeding a dry food, that those toxins aren't coming out through normal urine or feces because the animals dehydrate it. And therefore it's the body's got to react in a different way to try to get rid of it. Basically through short cuts. You know, it's not going all the way through the digestive system, so let's just get it out through the skin watching and itching of course pops up there, and of course the your infections again, so it's it's the body is trying to do the best job I can. And again at dehydration factor, they can't digest that food. And when you're looking at the gut biome, you know it's only it's only reactive to that one food that you feed every single day. It's only growing biome that might be able to break that down instead of the diversity you need. When you're doing a rotational diet, you're getting all kinds of goodies. And again then it all boils down to the minerals. The minerals that are putting in these processed foods. They're not in a natural form. They're all synthetic. And the body, you know, even when.
30 You look at it. You know, corn and soy of course are used extensively in these foods. And when you look at what do we fertilize our soil and our corn crops with only three minerals? So where are we going to get the minerals if we're not doing you know, some sort of exterior supplementation, if you will, Although I don't like that word because then it equates to vitamins and mineral supplements, which are not they're the same thing. They're a whole synthetics. You know, I have to sind from from a life floorce standpoint, and and it's interesting because that's you know, that's where the energy is. We have to wake up those minerals.
12 Right, you bring up a good point that you've brought up another context, Bill is you know it's not synthetic. It's not It doesn't have those fillers in it. When people bring into me supplements and they look on the bottles and you see all these different fillers that the body has to process too, and you know, it just adds a burden to an already toxic you know environment, and you know it's it starts with the basics. And the other thing about you know, skin and ear issues is that you know, very often when we put them on a on a species of appropriate diet, or treat them with homeopathy or herbs and botanicals, that's the first place we're going to see a return of old symptoms is through the skin and through the ears. And I know you counsel people on this all the time, and we don't want to interfere with it. We don't want to suppress that because once we do that, then that puts tremendous pressure downstream, you know, as you say, at the lymphatic system, the liver, the kidneys, and you know, the body just becomes increasingly toxic.
13 Yeah. Yeah, Well the other thing too is when we when I mentioned supplements of course, and all the synthetics that go into it, there's a whole plusthora of other things that go on in that processing. The methods of extracting these vitamins and minerals for use, and there's again dozens and dozens and dozens of chemical compounds involved in that for the processing that never get put on the label. You know, you have to you know, it's it's like in store. I use the example of a jar of turmerics. You know, we we do all our packing in at biocomplete for the biocomplete line, and everything's packing glass, so we don't have the palates and the you know, BPA and all the other stuff that's coming off jars. But the other thing is is we hand fill it. We don't use mechanical fillers because especially when it comes to supplements and minerals, they're being those jars are being filled, those caps are being filled through production equipment which uses essentially compressed air airlines plastic airlines to fill. And of course all these substances have static electricity and they plug up in no time at all. So I know, just in the jar tumeric, we did some research and they can have up to ten different chemical compounds and that don't make it unto the jar tumeric. It's hiss turmeric root, that's all it says. But they're anti caking agents, they're anti stick agents, they're lubricants, they can be flavors to
45 cover up and mask those chemical tastes. So you know you're looking at oh, this is a clean supplement. It's only got five or six extra things in it. No, there's another ten behind that that they didn't even talk about, right, Yeah, and the body's got to get rid of all that, right, I. Mean, I think at a at my meeting, I think doctor Pitt Cara mentioned what does the the body have like something like six hundred chemical I mean some astronomical number of chemicals that each of us has in our body just from living in a toxic world, much less going into the supplements that we're. Now taking into our brain. Yeah. And of course, you know, you know, when you look at process food, obviously each component has been processed by itself, which means there's not only heat and steam and cooking, but also other other components, uh to make you know, to make a meat, it says meat meal. What's in that?
40 You know? There could be a thousand components and nobody would ever know. And that's one of one of the major issues that the body's got to get rid of it. Typically it's coming out of the skin now and and through the ears. As we mentioned, you know, we we react to it differently than dogs too, because dogs and kids are covered in for we don't see all the eruptions. We don't see all the inflammation sometimes because inflammation comes and goes, especially on the skin, but on yourself. You know, Oh my god, I looked in the mirror and I got this rash. And you know, I got a rash on my arm because I can see it, I can you know, now all of a sudden, it triggers our brain. I have to scratch that, I have to put oil on it, I have to put something to stop it. And again, even with us, we're just pushing it back into the body.
28 Right right, and we're not looking at the underlying causes, which are you know, the tremendous number of tuxins. And you know, people don't realize that, you know, much of the conventional medical model is well they do realize on this show. Much of the conventional medical model is just pouring oxens and injectibles into our animal patients. And you know, those are the animals we see that come in with these skin and ear issues, and God blood them for having skin and ear issues, because if they didn't be even more toxic and sicker. Exactly. Okay, we're gonna take a quick break here and we're gonna get it more into the skin issues and some of the topicals after this quick break.

This is build a Pet Health Gurule and with my special guests, doctor Michael Dim we're talking about skin problems and ear problems and you know when we're looking at the skin again. The chat room is open if you want to chime in, go ahead and share this information like and subscribe that we can keep getting more and more messages out. But on the skin problems that mentioned as we wanted to break, humans have a tendency that use a lot of lotions and oils and other chemicals on their skin. Same has been true though with on the patch, with the so called conditioners and the medicated shampoos and that sort of thing.
16 And for many years I was a manufacturer's rep and I represented probably no less than a dozen different shampoo companies over that time, as technology has changed and stuff like that, where we went from basically abrasive detergent type shampoos to surfactant base which just basically lifts the dirt off rather than that. But the common thread with the veterinary therapeutic shampoos was we use a harsh shampoo to take off all the natural oils that are on the body to protect itself so that the medication can absorb into the skin. You'll get into this cycle because about it's trying to heal itself and get rid of the toxins at the same time, isn't it?
03 Absolutely it is. So Yeah, by doing what you're saying, you're just you know, just preventing that matter of that process from happening. And you know, of course, the ingredients, as I'm sure you'll mention, is you know, they're they're carcinogenic a lot of these. There's so many dyes and colorings and and I've read the labels of some of these any bacterial anti fungal spray shampoos and ear cleaners, and you know, the top ingredient chlorohexiderm chlorohexidine is is a carcinogen and pre known in people, and that's what we're putting on the skin of our animals when they have a rash or an ear infection. Yeah, you know, and it's interesting that you mentioned that particular chemical because you know, being in the food business, that's what the health departments want me to use on our tables and their cleaning. So the dis in fact, so if I take that nice pine of b for the around or you know, whatever hunk of meat that we get in our primals, and I put it on the table that's just been clean with those chemicals that's getting in the fruit source as well, and they think that's fine.
14 It's amazing. Yeah, I mean the chemicals when I you know, in a conventional that office that are used, the clean tables, mop the floors, and animals are going in there and actually sitting there. And you know, even if they don't get the injections or the chemera or the intentional chemicals, they're getting it anyway in the environment. Yeah, and of course there's there's you know, they're inhaling it. Their sense of smell is a lot better than ours. We just ignore it. You know, it smells chemically in here today. I mean the bothering my nose a little bit. But on the other side of it, it's you know, it's it's horrible that way. You know, there's a question up there, Okay, castor oil to clean my dog's ears.
58 I haven't really used it very often, but know if you have any thoughts on it. But well, it's another oil. I mean, that's the whole thing. We're trying to get away from doing that, plugging it up more because you can't swave all that castor oil out and a lot of it's absorbed, which is at least a more natural product, but still debris, and that's going to stick to it. Over time, it does get sticky. And the whole is to flush it out, not to entrap it, and it's you know, that's I mean, I know that a lot of the early ear cleaners used incorporated cast oil and then of course vegetable oil, which is even you know, a hell of a lot worse over the years. And you know, we my my advice has always been, you know, some of the best things that clean it. I mean, you can use things like peroxide, you can use things like just water alcohol, you know, just enough, I mean, And actually the proper way to do it, the way we used to do it is to do with a near flush, would be to fill the ether up completely, start massaging because you can feel that ear tube and massage and of course after about five seconds, the dog gets irritated with it, starts shaking their head and spray it all over the place. And you can actually see that a lot of times if it's if it's that dark type of debris coming out, and get in there with the queue tip clean that out as far as you can. Here's the dog's ear canal is kind of like an L shape, so it's hard to get to the ear drum unless you really
29 really were being aggressive. And then do it again, and then do it again until there's no debris coming out. Get that debris out, and then you can monitor how much more is coming out of the body into the ear canal, and then start on the other end too, with you know, cleaning out the liver and the kidney, and you know. The other thing is with again there's the chime in to bring them in. But you know, with cats, you want to leave their ears alone. You just want to gently you don't want to put anything in there air canals. They're very sensitive to to vertigo and all sorts of issues. So you know, my colleague, as I said, whose practice is mainly mainly cats for many decades, he said, you know, just leave them alone if they're not bothering.
15 Or they're just gently wipe it away if you can. But yeah, kitties, you have to be real careful not to put any strong, even natural chemicals into the air canals. Yeah, I know. When I when you know we had a cat rescue that I mean, most of it was just a que tip on the outside, just get rid of whatever de breeze there, and then we have to start looking at the inside. And I know that they say it's especially to with this with the skin. I was. I had a consultation today. The seal part of it's going to be coming up on another video that we're working on, but that you know, we do a lot with just clean natural foods and that sort of thing, and we were talking about the benefits of you know, everybody that was with the skin problems used to I used to sell literally palettes of salmon oil and sardine oil U as a supplement before I before we got really heavily into the nutritional part because most people were still feeding dry food. We had to get the essential fatty acids, the oils in there, the mago threes and nine. Well, of course that industry is taking a dump as well because mostly oils that are on the market now are you know, they're already tainted, They've got chemicals in them, they're you know, putting preservatives in them. So we took a major step backwards, and that is a good foundational product.
36 But uh, in this video we brought it up that, Okay, I noticed that you used to sell salmon and sardines into a real seafood. What's the advantage of that. That salmon oil is in it, It's in the salmon, it's in a natural form. We didn't have to do anything to it. So again, the digestibility is going to be higher. You know, how often should you add that in the diet? You know, it's you know, all this stuff is rotational. You do the rotations. The animals sometimes will be picky and finicky because they don't want it today. That doesn't mean they don't want it tomorrow, you know, it's it's you know, you know, I can we can talk about fast food and people the same way. You know, people tread to eat clean and then you go buy that Burger King or that McDonald's and when you're starving to death and you're traveling and it's like the car automatically just goes in and then we're doomed.
27 That's true, it is. But yeah, I mean it's uh, it's it's the chemical load on our bodies. It's just it's tremendous. So and I know you speak about that all the time, whether it's water, whether it's environmental chemicals, pent trails, I mean, are the onslaught is just relentless And as I said, because of the preventative medical model and even the allopathic drugs, the toxic load on these animals just is just tremendous and you know, the bodies just doing what it's supposed to do. It's it's so true that way. It's you know, these drugs build they're they're actually you know, they're they're they're toxic to the ear drum. So a lot of these animals that are on these topical antibiotics steroid creams, you know, they actually damage the drum and and you know, animals and many many animals across the country become death from using these topical products. So they really are not safe and they shouldn't be used as routinely as they are.
28 Yeah. Well, the other thing too is you know, when you're using these, especially in the ears, that's in very very close proximity to the eyes, and how many eye problems do we see today in dougs that would never happen, glaucoma and cataracts, and you know the discharge all the time, and and that's all part of that same thing. And basically, you know, it's been labeled sometimes while these are just allergies, well, energy symptoms if we really look at them, are nothing more and detox symptoms bodies on overload with that particular item and whatever's carrying you know, mold and pollend Okay, get a lot of blame, but in nature, mold and pollen are sponges. They're picking up what's in the atmosphere right, right, and that's why they've become such a villain. But in reality, you know, as part of this part of nature, who got to quit just contaminating everything.
31 Right exactly. And please avoid the tendency, especially with skin disease and eruptions and itching and chewing of the pulse. Please avoid the tendency to the audience to not use these powerful newer generational antiitch drugs, whether it's you know, an oral pill like Applequel or side a Point or all these different there's new ones out nows and really these are all very powerful immunosuppressive agents that really block what the body is trying to naturally do. And you know, they came out with these drugs as a safer alternative to prednisome, but in essence they're even they're worse. I mean, they're they're more toxic.
11 Yeah yeah. And of course, you know, entering into that whole toxicity realm are all the you know, pesticide type things that we're using for heartworms and fleas and ticks, you know, because those those drugs are actually designed to move to the skin so that they will poison the you know, the parasites that are biting and get rid of it that way. So again it's it's it's it's kind of a catch twenty two on that one, if you will, because we're actually designing products that are going to migrate to the skin and cause more irritation than less. So it's exactly when you. Stop and think logically about a lot of this, when you start to breaking down the step by step by stuff, how this stuff is happening. Food going in, tainted food, chemicals, drugs going into the body, and just trying to escape, you have to really question that first step, what are we putting into the body. With that being said, we're gonna take a quick break and get back to some solutions after this break.

We're talking about skin and ears and all the things that go along with that again, share, like and subscribe, put your questions into the chat. In this last section we can maybe narrow some things down for you. But when we start looking at remedies that actually work, how are we going to clean up? How? How would you approach the whole problem as a whole because generally speaking, if you've got eared problems, you do have scratching a nition because they're scratching their ears a certain way. But what you know, I know, on because you do things a little bit differently with homeopathy and stuff like that, what would be some of the things that you would use or how would you approach that?
43 I mean from a homeopathic perspective, right exactly. Basically we look at each animal as an individual. So an animal with waxy ears or ear infection quote unquote, we're more interested in the individual symptomology of that patient. So for example, if it's the left ear or the right ear, or if it's a brown you know, none of this means anything in the world of how do we detox them? But if go into a remedy in terms of the character or the discharge, the color, whether it's sticky. Because this is when homeopathy came about. Bill we didn't. There wasn't any microorganism identification. It was basically choosing remedies based upon the body's individual response to stress and to toxicity.
28 And so we look at the character of the ears, the left, the right, whether it's sensitive to touch or it feels better with rubbing or massage. We look at other symptoms elsewhere in the body. It's all connected, as you know. We look at whether there's any digestive symptoms in the history, or any sort of urinary or bladder issues. Just today, I had a case come in and crying. I think she's going to be coming your way, you know, and if she wants the dog's been on a processed prescription diet for urate stones and it's been on it for years, and she wants to get her off of it. And I said, urinary stones are just and bladder issues are just another manifestation of a deeper toxicity. And so it really does, you know, start with food, and as that animal gets healthier, the body will discharge through the skin in the ears. So I try and support that process.
26 I mean, you know, I use you know, I'll sometimes use a little dilute apples apple side of vinegar in the ears as a is a mild disinfectant, but that's about as strong as I get. Manuca honey is wonderful as a topical. There's an excellent company that I used that was developed by actually ironically a board certified veterinary dermatologist who was frustrated with Western medical dermatologic products and came out with a whole line. We should talk about it at some point, the whole line of products that are at least, you know, can you know, less toxic on the patient, right, So I'll use some of his products as well, and they have, like I said, more Minuca honey based that kind of thing. So uh Alo is wonderful too as a as a as a cleaning agent.
15 But you know, I'm sure you have your favorites as well. Some people use a little you know, if there's they suspect and overgrowth of the easter or bacteria, they'll use a little coloidal silver, you know, those kind of in the ears, which I know you have some nice products in. Yeah, yeah, and and you know, like you said, we have to take each one of them individually but still collectively to make it easy for people that don't understand, you know. Then understanding. That was part of the conversation I had with a filming today is we have to keep some of this stuff very very short and sweet without basically overloading the client's mind. I mean I have a tendency to overdo that all the time.
56 We all, I mean the cliental kid today with the urinary dog, she basically, you know, had a whole notebook of things she's researched and this and that and what should she be feeding, and making it so complicated. And I when I usual your name, I said, you know, Bill's going to just put it to you simple. It's a species appropriate rotating raw meat protein diet with you know, minimal process carbohydrates and fillers and and and you know that's the way our animals evolve to eat. And you're going to be put on some herbal detoxes and and urinary herbs to you know, fresh foods and botanical urinary. Truk and let the body do its thing. And that's it. I said, you don't need any magical potions or pills or you know, in this case, it wasn't a homeopathic case because that would have really been too much for her.
45 So simple, I kept it food and detoxing to help her bat animal with bladder issues. You know, it's so it's so funny because the food is obviously the key what you're putting in the body, and yet people, average pet owners have been so brainwashed, so indoctrinated into the commercial food industry. If you will, you know, I've rerouted a couple of weeks ago on one of my shows, and that I happened to be needed. I was in an event we needed some food for cooking, okay, and it was like went into a supermarket, walk the whole thing and did you see anything that you wanted to eat? I said, no, there's no food in here, no food at all, realistically, because even the fresh produce, you know, there's a major lawsuit by the organic people that when they put these misters on in the produce section to keep everything fresh and moist, the organic section is prayed with inorganic chlorine based chemicals. And you're paying for organic, so I mean, and it's like you can't get away from it. And yet we're told this is what we need, this is what we need. You know, things like raw milk and you know, raw diets and raw honey are oh my god, they can carry anything, but so does any other If there isn't bacteria on it,
19 if you're not going to get funguses growing on it, it's dead food. It's dead. There's no nutritive value. That's why the bugs won't eat it, right. You know, there's a big movement and you know, and I know you're not part of this movement, but in the holistic world on social media and through all these multiple resources now you know, focusing on anti yeast protocols and I disagree with that as well. I you know, just using you know, just herbs or nutraceuticals or probiotics and not addressing the cause of the issue. Again, it's those are a result of the issue, the yeast and the bacteria. They come second. One of the lecturers at my meeting and the homeopathy meeting, which is the whole other topic in itself, was you know, the fact that Hanam and the father in homeopathy didn't feel that germs caused any disease. They were all second. It was transmitted energetically between beings, not not by the microbe or the germ.
18 You know, that's a whole yet whole other discussion germ versus rain theory but you know it, uh, you know, it all comes down to what we started out with, toxicity and deficiency. So if you want to break it down. Yeah, exactly. You know, as I mentioned, you know, with the diet, the species appropriate and rotational, I viewed the same thing with you know, our herbals and botanicals that we have to do that rotation because every single herb has got different characteristics. There's tons and tons of different herbs that do the same thing, but they do it differently, and you know, they contain different minerals and you know, in different amounts and things of that nature. And you mentioned probiotics too. Okay, So if I give an animal a probatic, whether it's a human or a dog or a cat whatever, for digestion, what are they digesting? What is it working on? Because I'm giving that if I'm giving kibble, there's only one diet, there's only one entree, and unless you would have the proper biotics in it for that formulation, you're just throwing away your money and it's pasteurized on top of it. So it's you don't get you know, while it's saying there's all these living units, there really isn't you know and as always, you know, here we are again almost an hour in time goes by so fast when we start these topics. Tell people how they can reach you and how you can help them.
39 Well, they can go to my website which is doctor dim dot com, d O C T O R D y M dot com and that has my contact information and I email address, and I certainly try and return emails within twenty four to thirty six hours unless I'm away at a meeting. Right, yep, exactly, And of course I'm available at the store, my Paleo pet Uh at Pethouse Guru at Petthouse Cafe, dozens of different ways to get in touch with me. We both do consultations, phone consultations and in person and uh, you know, we're here to help. We're here to get the truth out. And that's not easy to do. I mean every time I turn around, and even on our farm, the table process for people, it's like every day I open up the computer and there's four more ranches selling meat directly online and claiming, and there's the absolute path.
37 So the space is getting crowded out there. Of course, you know, every it seems like every veterinarian out there has got a new supplement uh that they're hawking and uh. Or calling themselves holistic and yet injecting animals with every you know, bacteria or virus or or you know, using all the flea and thick products and. Heartworm that exactly. You know, that's truly we got to cut down on the garbage that we're putting in our animals. Take that step back to look at some of the newer technologies which of course I've got on that that's got some very very interesting aspects to it as well. With that being said, thank you everyone for watching, listening and sharing. Let you let your shares know that they can watch this whole podcast again as soon as we are off the air on YouTube and Spotify and Amazon and all the other places we are so thank you for watching. And with that, thank you doctor Dim. It's always a pleasure to have you on.
