0:00 I had a client this past week come in with a big Burmese bound dog that was on heartworm prevention. It came up from the north down from the northeast, and the dog presented with severe coughing, and you know, it was getting worse on the heartworm protocol treatment, which includes antibiotics and steroids and and uh. And then again the the you know, the adult is the poison, the arsenic poison that's injected to kill the adults. Well, this dog never made it that far. It just I think from all the toxicity of the heartworm prevention. And again they said, oh, it must be resistant heartworms, and so all ended up, you know, they say, oh, it's just because the preventatives aren't working because they're resistant, so we have to come up with stronger ones or different ones.

0:52 So anyway, this poor dog had was positive for heartworms, was getting worse with treatment. And then they did X rays and found the dog a surprise surprise, unfortunately, had cancer throughout its lungs too as well.
