22 You put your comments in the comment line. We'll be answering any questions or comments that we can. And with that being said, we're going to talk about achieving wellness today, and I'm going to do that with a special guest after Michael dimm And how you doing, Doc? I know you're out there somewhere there, you are. Here, I am. It's good to be here. Bill. How's everything going this week? Oh? Crazy? You know how it is? Well, you've been spending a couple of saturdays by store, you know how it is? Yeah, a half hour of nobody and then twenty people at once exactly. Yeah, we get we're fighting the weather too, and the time of here down here in Florida. A lot of people are absolutely yeah ye so, but yeah, it's gonna be an interesting week. Never ceases to be a never ceases to be a dull moment, that's for sure.

13 That's for sure. Yeah, And uh, I wanted to I wanted to bring something up to the beginning here is the show. It's because we're we're gonna be talking about achieving wellness, and our disclaimer at the beginning of the show says, never start a health or nutrition program without consulting a professional medical person. Oh man, that's the FDA regulation that we. Have your Yeah, it has to be so it is not always consult your healthcare professional. Yeah, so it's like, you know, I do this in the store quite a bit. You may have even heard me over the weekend doing it. It's like you walk in, Okay, you're go first of the year, it's January first. You want to get healthy, so you go to your healthcare professional.

59 What are they going to give you, be size drug and a treatment for him for something you don't actually have except maybe obesity. They don't have anything. So then you go to you leave there disgusted. You turn around and you go to the health food store. You open up the door and you go, where's the food department. There's no food. It's all supplements. It's all prescription in that non prescription drugs, if you will, made by the same company. Then you go to the supermarket and there's nothing to eat. It's real food except maybe a little bit on the edges, and that stuff is all tainted anyway. So what do you do to get to achieve this wellness?

42 If you're in Papino? Absolutely absolutely, yeah, you're right. But I agree, you know, for the average pet owner, it's and the average person they just really don't realize, do they. No, they don't, you know, it's really know they think, like you said, they go to other outlets thinking they're getting health food or healthy advice, and like you said, they're just getting synthetic supplements and a bottle form and or not real food. And uh, you know, I certainly want. I've been spending some time at your store and I've been buying some items. Each time I'm there, I said, Wow, this is great tasting stuff, and it's real and it's human grade, hormone free, pesticide free, all that good stuff.

27 But you know it's really lacking in the health. You know, people often say I won't mention health food store chains that I go here or I go there, and I know you often say, well, it's not the same the bone brought you buy there isn't the same that you get with my paliopephord. So you know, it's hard to find truly natural, unadulterated products. Now you you happen to pick up one of our great steaks this weekend. How was it was delicious? Oh boy, I mean it beat all the best steak has as I've ever been to. And I said, I think I said to you, you know, not to not to put down or belittle the vegetarians in the audience. But I tried to become one, and I couldn't because I just crave fat in my diet. It's hard to get fat when you're on a plant based only diet.

14 You know, Avocados didn't cut it for me, and you know, it affected everything, affected my mood, my health, well being, and you know, I just I couldn't do it because when I had gone to you know, many years ago, you probably know this story. You know doctor Pittcareen who trained me in homeopathy. He you know, he was one of the first guys who, along with you back in the seventies and eighties that were preaching a raw meat diet. And then over the years he's evolved and you know, the latest edition of his book calls for more plant based diets and our animals for not necessarily that's what they evolved to eat, but for various ecological reasons and you know how the animals treated and that kind of thing. But my meetings became vegetarian when I would go to the annual homeopathy meetings, and you know, I started going and they presented a lot of really powerful material and I said, boy, I got to try to become a vegetarian, and I did and it didn't work, you know work.

06 It's funny because people will realize our digestive system is closer to that of a wolf than it is to an ape. And you have to compare it all the time. You know, an ape has got an a test and a large intestine is like ten miles long because they ferment what goes into front end for a long long time and then when it comes out as poop, then they eat it. It's you know, so you want to be like anigh or you want to be like a you know, a wolf. Paid it's a question that I guess it's on someone's mind. Is there a holistic treatment for hyper parathyroidism? Not that I'm away, I mean I would just treat it as we do most things, treated with a fresh species appropriate rotating protein diet, various herbs and botanicals because if the the parathyroine plant is out of balance, usually it's toxicity.

59 Right, yeah, absolutely, yeah, And you know, as we talk about on this show all the time, so you know, ninety percent of the toxins aren't visible, and they most of them don't even have very much of a smell. So our body can't even sense them, but yet our animals have have a strong enough ability to smell them that when you try to stick something wrong in their diet without using artificial synthetic palatans like they do in commercial foods, they just reject it. I mean, you know, oh, you know, you got to give your dog this warming pill or this this treatment pill, and you're doing you know, you're playing sumo wrestler with a four pound maltese right.

42 Right, right, exactly so. But anyway, I thought the topic tonight would be a good one to kind of compare, you know, the kind of the two models of medicine and how they determine what wellness is and what what that basic you know, difference is, and if there are any similarities, which there really aren't many unfortunately, between the conventional model of wellness and the holistic model of wellness. But you know, certainly I've been trying to on my social media pages provide more information about some of the glaring just I don't know, I'll call the atrocities of you know, Western medicine. And I always say this, and I have to always bring up when I when I bring up these points that I've been doing this for thirty five years, not as long as you, but I've been in the veterinary profession for quite a number of decades, and I practiced in some very busy conventional vet practices.

34 So it's not like I just come at it from a homeopathic or holistic model, you know, so to speak. But you know, when they start when they're young, Bill, It's just like you know that first we should start when they're puppies or kittens, when they first bring those animals to the veterinarian and they were bringing them there for you know, wellness or health and they want to say, hey, Doc, tell me how to keep my pet healthy. I mean, that's the first thing you know, anybody wants when they adopted the young animal. And you know, with traditional medicine, it usually is along the lines of, like you saying earlier, drugs drugs, whether they're injected to prevent disease, or whether they they're oral pesticides to try to wipe out so called parasites and the digestive tract, or whether they're you know, certain medications that they're taking internally and topically to destroy or prevent leaves and ticks, which God, if they expose to our animals, they're going to get some god awful diseases.

31 So you know, the word fear is what comes into play right away in the western medical model and usually and I remember when I first started working in traditional practice and they had in the clinics and you probably remember this the model with the heart in there with the worms crawling in it, and say, this is what heartworm looks like. If you don't put your animal on some sort of medication to prevent this, this is what your animal is going to get. It's going to die. From me, and not not saying animals don't occasionally come down with artworms, but you know, again it's using fear, not empowerment to promote wellness. And that to me is as far as a definition of wellness when you when the word fear comes in the health. And so that's really what happens right from the get go in the traditional like and then usually of course they're going to come in and they have their samples of food, you know, the kibble and you know from these companies, the you know, the big pet food companies that you know kind of brainwash my young colleagues and uh and older colleagues, and uh, you know they start out with just commercial food and god, don't feed anything from the table or don't feed anything that might be appropriate because if you do, they're going to get really, really sick. So it's just you know, it's a bombardment of just a lot of a lot of you know, just fear based you know, dead products, dead food, and dangerous medications and drugs. And you know, the biggest thing, which I know don't like you mentioned on the show, are the injections that these animals get

02 in their immune system is developing and these are the last things we want to do to a developing immune Yeah. And you know, as you're talking about jed first visit as well, and you did leave out one of the small just a little detail that all that is actually life changing and they's say on the first visit schedule the first surgeries. Absolutely. Yeah, Well, you know in the Traditions Bill, right, they would do all the series of you know, injections over several months, over a few months. Then that that last you know injection appointment. Well in another three or four weeks from now, we've got a neuter or a spey. Your animal at six months of age, which nowadays that's actually considered ancient, you know, given what they're doing and the rescues and the shelters, the conventional ones, that is not the whole that you that you deal with. But you know they're doing them now at six and eight weeks of age. You know, they're they're surgically altering animals and uh, you know, but that was always a big money thing and or you know, to be fair, you know, there is a big pet over population problem, of course, and as a young guy growing up, I remember watching the old show The Price Is Right, where Bob Barker would say at the end of the show, don't forget to have your pet spade or newtered. You know. It was like the whole you know that you know, and he meant it from a place of you know, even though I think he was kind of involved with the societies.

24 Yeah, that was a paid commercial AVMA. But yeah, the surgical sterilization and that, fortunately I'm really happy with over the decades. You know, at least my conventional colleagues are now. You know, they can't deny the science that they asked for in terms of the benefits of keeping the sex hormones for at least a significant amount of time rather than removing it at a young age. So you know, at least there's some acknowledgment, you know in that area. Yeah, well, it's funny because when you know, when I was in college as well, the recommendation, you know, one of the things that came out on the FDA's Center for Veterinary Medicine is that spe and and this is going back into the sixties and the seventies when this information came out cut their lifespan in half. And yet you know, we were still practicing the same book baric thought pattern today. You know, we don't care about it cutting their lifespan. We just don't want to have any puppies or kitten. And you know, when I talk to rescues, as you know, one of my big pet peeves is if you know, that should be the responsibility of an owner, not the rescue. The rescue should be moving from a bad place to a good place.

38 I agree. And you know what. Happens with these animals unfortunately coming through the rescues is you're getting an animal that's already had all these procedures done, whether it's surgical, whether they're you know, just medical medicines and preventatives and all of that sort of thing. And you just paid an adoption fee to get a basically a debit producing pat because you're going to be in the office. I mean, I had somebody, uh this, you're gonna love this one. This one came in yesterday or maybe it was Sunday. Of course, you know, as we were talking earlier, you said, oh, you had a couple of days off though I just wasn't in the store, but I was still taking phone calls and doing my podcast and everything else. So this woman calls me. She was in the store on Saturday, by the way, when you were there, and was lecturing me because overheard a conversation.

36 Evidently there was a challenge with one of the animals, something something normal irhea bombing, which we know is housekeeping that's sick. But and she's buying stuff for me. This is all the interesting thing. So she believes in what we do. But you should have two or three holistic veterinarians. They're de matter what's being set. Because this salesperson said, with this problem, you don't need to go to a vat. We can take care it with good advice and good food and that sort of thing. And what you're saying, I'm working with several several great holistic veterinarians. Okay, I see them every week. Every week. What animals? What? Okay?

16 In your practice? How many animals have to be seen every week? Only the ones that come in a critical place. You know, that's very rare. When I say a critical place, I mean ones that are on that store have you know, severe advanced disease. But for the most part, my goal as a practitioner, and I use this term all the time, is to really be a try to be a true doctor, which again in Latin means teacher, which is to teach clients how to keep their animals healthy so they don't need the holistic veterinarian or any veterinarians. So the goal is always to improve health and vitality, not to sell products and drugs, procedures all of that. Yeah. Well, the interesting part of it too, because I, you know, I work, I try to draw more information out.

03 So she's seeing it every week every two weeks, going between two practitioners. And I said, well, how long you've been doing this? She says, oh, this because he's got he's got extreme I think that's the words you use, gastric problems that they're trying to solve months and months of treatment between two veterinarians. Gastric problems. I mean, I don't understand. I mean what the dog has loose stool, which it is supposed to have exactly. And they're holistic vets that should know that, I mean, the whole thing. And she was like, I mean on a you know, on her perch, they're just talking to me, you know, like we have to have all these people, and I mean, you've been around being long enough, you know that I do a lot of research. I talk with you, I talk with other veterinarians. I've had some very good ones on the show. I've had some very bad ones on the show that I've had a deal with, you know, sometimes in person in the store, it's you know, what we do and you see that, you know a lot of these especially these so called holistic practitioners, aren't really hosting.

12 They're just taking a couple of alternative, you know, classes in you know, a little a small part of that holistic outlook. But they're still not looking at the whole body. And they may see five ten animals a day. If they're lucky, you should and have had ten to fifteen people in front of you at one point in time in my store, right, you know literally sometimes you know, hundreds of customers, hundreds of clients every single week. That's a lot of feedback I get, I get the good, the bad, and the ugly, as you know. Yeah, but you know you're right about the holistic beat. I mean, you know a lot of them quote unquote are doing the quote unquote best of both worlds where they're selling kibble in the waiting room and they say, well, I do acupuncture or I do some herbs. Therefore, along side the antibiotics and steroids, therefore I am a holistic vet.

04 And so you know, it's there's no standard really, as I said, I mean, I know, I mean, conventional medicine certainly has its place. I mean, trauma and injuries and foreign bodies that get lodged, you know, these are things that need you know, conventional medical stabilization. But when it comes to chronic disease or chronic illness or preventing chronic disease, the last thing you want to be doing is going to your local you know, quote unquote integrated veterinarian or conventional vet to get some of these oxens that put into the body, and especially when they're puppies and kittens, because at that age, you know, the biggest thing those things you're doing is disrupting that whole gut microbiome, and then that leads to a whole cascade of events as you talk about and know, which involves the liver and the kidneys and all the detoxification.

22 All right, and we're back here at the Pet Health Cafe, the show where your pet has a voice. This is Bill a Petthouse Gurule and with doctor Michael dimm And we're talking about achieving wellness. And we were talking about how people look at the industry and what they actually do to their poor puppies and kittens when they first get them, and of course moving on until later life. So anyway, we were talking about this specific call that I got to chastise me and I said something and was like, how do you judge you know these people because she actually mentioned their names, and I said, well, they sell, you know, they sell the conventional stuff there, including kibble. And it's like, well, no, they're not doing those veterinary brands. We're doing a farm brand and an imported brand as holistic kibble is kibble is kibble. I don't care. You know, you're paying a premium price. You think you're getting something better, do not.

14 You're paying for fancy marketing and pretty bags, that's for sure, but that's far ride. But that's how they were judging it. I mean, how do you deal with this? Yeah? And you know what, And then the other thing was just the conventional stuff, you know, like I posted something today about a client of mine that texted me and said, you know, I took my dog to the vent. I got a stool sample evaluated, and it was the dog was nonsymptomatic. It came up with giardia. And now I was told, oh my god, I gotta treat I gotta bathe the dog, I gotta sterilize the environment. I have to get tested. Dog has to be treated. I'm like, oh my god, you're talking about fear build fear over nothing.

55 It's just it's manufactured. I know, I got a tough my list because I saw part of that post and you get a cancer read all the comments. But yeah, it's a part of life, right, just like you know, just like bacteria in the air, you know, and bacteria in our skin, and it's supposed to be there. Some of the stuff, small quantities. Right, right. And this was a dog from a rescue, so again the stress that that dog's under involved with, and you know the background with all the injections and drugs and pesticides and warnings and all of that stuff. I mean, was going to have a few parasites. Sure, So if it came from a rescue and the rescue bombarded it with all these insecticidal, fungicidal bacteria SIDLE products, how could it still have giardia unless these parts really don't work. It's just all marketing.

51 It's all marketing, you know. And it's so sad though. What's happening from that wellness model that I just described that was in place when I graduated med school and night ninety one, that you know, our animals are getting these diseases, chronic diseases and cancers at younger and younger ages. It's just I mean, I had a call today, a console today with a seven year old bouvia that had advanced breast cancer, had radical missectomy, or had a lump on a gland, and of course the vet just took the whole chain of glands off. And then a few months later the dog started coughing and then it had cancer that spread to the lungs and then went somewhere else. And we're dogs only seven years old, and you know, when I see and that's one that unfortunately came to me, has come to me at a very advanced stage of disease.

40 But you know, I didn't call it out as hopeless, and I said, you know, if it's a young, vibrant animal, you know it can it can repair, you know, So got them started on the food and the herbs and started with a homeopathic remedy to address the deeper tendency to disease. And you know, we we try and look at things in a more empowered way, from the holistic side of things, not from this fear based we have to take it off and biopsiate it and remove it and irradiate it and throw chemo at it and all this stuff. I mean, you know, cancer is so rampant in our animals, and the survival rate of lymphoma, the number one cancer of dogs and cats, is no different than when I graduated in veterinary school in nineteen ninety one.

22 I mean, it's still six months with their with their same chemo protocol that I that they use when I graduated, So they really haven't changed very much. And it's funny because you know, I've been doing cancer of course for longer than I've had the stores. It's been like thirty thirty five years because I'd lost my father to cancer, and it just opened my mind as to what it really is. Cancer's cancer is cancer, and it's you know, it's basically cancer cells are eating poison. Yeah, and that's what it is. Now the body's going to try to accumulate them into a single spot so it can fight it and get rid of the tops and push it to the outside. And you know, it's sead of addressing reduction in the toxins in the first place, we actually add more. And when you remove that storage vessel, the body just makes another storage vessel someplace else. You know, we burned down the warehouse, let's just build another warehouse. Yes, you know, And it's really I mean, you know you mentioned lymphoma. I mean, we've had many many dogs over the years coming through and of course, you know, I developed a protocol and herbal design and the hetogenic diet twenty years ago and we've had success rates with that where it disappeared, you know, happens. I've had tumors literally fall off in the store when people wanted to show them to be I mean, it's it's like I'm worried about I'm really worried about it. When she was one of them was a Maltese full coat. She wanted to

53 show me that the injection side tarcoma and she says it turned black. And I'm really concerned because it turned black. Is it it's dead? But let me show it you anyway, she's brushing air, brushing air. I can't find it. She puts your dog down and it's in her hands. Yeah, I mean the bodies the body is designed to do that, It wear that stuff. Yes, it is. And you know we have to give the body a chance. And then I mean, when I get these cancer cases, I'm sure you. I'm obviously you do as well. You know, I always tell the client, Okay, you go on the raw dive, we'll go on the herbs, we'll give the next give the appropriate homeopathic remedy. But I do say, okay, but initially you're going to get some perhaps some diarrhea or some digestive upset or skin eruptions or discharge, and that's part of the process. Do not interfere with it with strong drugs or antropical antibiotics or running to the vet and getting that anti nausea shot.

56 Because all that does is just lock up the body and weaken it even further. So when the body's talking to us through those symptoms, the last thing we want to do is suppress it. That's exactly right. I mean, you know, I had another client in this week. It's like, okay, they had skin problems and you know, you know, using this cream and this, you're just blocking up that exit point where the Texans are trying to come in and they got to go some once else. The body's got to move it and the screen movement, it's not like it's you know, like it's static, and okay, we just stopped it from coming out, so now we don't have as much scratching and itching. And that's what they because we you know, the drugs that we use just number the area, but it's actually has to move someplace else, and you're just chasing all this stuff around the body all.

43 The time, exactly. And then with the skin stuff Bill, it's like I tell people, that's wonderful your dog is getting these skin symptoms because it's trying to push it through the exterior that way. You don't want it going deeper, like you talk about it. You don't want it hitting the vital organs. In fact, people off and say, well, I cured my animal of this skin thing. Now he's got all these internal issues. How do we cure that. Well, we got to treat those internals. But those skin things are going to come back because it has to. It has to the healing process. Yes. And by the way, just at that little dog deal you were looking at on Saturday with Mabe, my regular customer, Dougy's something running around drinking a lot of bone broths, hydration and the water. The water helped out tremendously.

30 Oh wonderful. Yeah you're alcoholized. U wa. Yeah that the Yeah, some of the kidney values are completely getting back into range. Right. And you know it's like because he came in and with you know, an arm's lengths worth of more questions, more understanding. And when I. Finished talking to him about it, I said, I hope in that he writes down a lot of the notes and everything else. I said, when you're done, when we get this done, I want you to co author a book with me. There you go. Yeah, they were wonderful people. Yeah, yeah, I know they're terrific. And the little dog has you know, been fight you know, had cancer for years, right, and you know, and all they can do is the doom and gloom, you know, prognosis right with the you know, the cancer spread here, it's got fluid here, it's got organ failure there. But you know, we can't lose hope with our animals, you know, because the one thing that we have to keep in mind that doesn't exist in our animals with healing is there's no ego there. So in other words, there's no fear and they're they're just trying to enjoy life and get back to loving their guardians and life and people and other animals, and so they don't have that fear running, you know, interfering with healing.

43 So if we give them those tools of healing, it's remarkable what they can sometimes do. Yeah, it's you know, that seems to be we are about two minutes from the break. But okay, what else can owners do to help achieve this? Well, it's you know that we are ultimately looking. For well, I mean, you know again it's you know, from a young age and my experience, it's getting them on the species appropriate foods that you talk about that we talk about not feeding freeze dried. I mean, I keep getting more and more people. That seems to be the biggest fan of today is people that say, well, I feed raw, but it's freeze dried raw. It's freeze dried this. It's not raw, it's free burned food, is what it really is, the burn food that we used to throw out.

30 That's the process, that's right. So I mean, it's the species appropriate diye, it's the detoxing, you know. I mean, it's the herbs. And then again, because of what we've been doing to these animals over generations, I find that homeopathy can come in when they're very young and address some of these tendencies on an energetic, dynamic level, and then the food and the herbs can come in and help, you know, obviously deal with the oxens and the and the lymphat helping with lymphatic drainage. But that's how I go about it. When they're young, and as alternatives to the injections, some of my homeopathic clients will use what are called nosodes, which are alternatives to the injections for preventing disease. And you know that's certainly my colleague out West, doctor Todd Cooney, has done some wonderful studies where he's shown that animals that get nosodes are so much more protected than animals that get vaccinated with parvo, for example when they're puppies. And of course people always get worried about parvo and animals under a year of age. Well, he did some excellent work that showed that, you know, that the animals that are vaccinated are more likely to get parvo. So you know, he's used nosodes and I'm Richard Pittcaren, you know, taught about nosodes, so you know, I don't really use them as much in my practice. I just preach, you know, again the basics of good health food, the herbs, avoiding, the avoiding poisoning them from our perspective, and just you know, let them be and let their bodies heal themselves.

And we're back here at the Pedhealth Cafe, the show where your pen has a voice. This is Build a Pedhealth School Roule along with Michael dimm veterinarian homeopathic. And again we want to tell you to share this, like it, subscribe, and if you've got any questions or comments, go ahead and throw them in the chat. We're here for you. So you know, obviously you mentioned this one already. You know the treatment for hypercure thyritism. It's all about balancing the body. All these diseases are about rebalancing the body.

23 Let the body do the work, give it to tools. We're the ones carrying the toolbox. It doesn't come from medicine. That's all that you know. In the allopathic world. You've got chemicals, You've got cut and burn. That's basically it, you know, I mean, it's it's amazing. I actually went to uh share it with you before the show. I'm getting some zone treatments, you know, which are interesting, and the guy that runs the center, I have some lower like get a little older, a little lower back and little psiotic issues. So I figured i'd see the doctor there, who was supposedly a holistic guy. But I mean he's got all these different ivs and this and that, and again it's so different than sometimes what you're talking about here. It's just a bonifide version.

10 With you know, Don and Boca here. Yeah, and anyway, so I went to see him and I you know, and he said, oh, let me take a look at you for you And I said, well, do you have stem cells other things that might be able to help you know, And then he starts with, now, first we need a diagnosis. We need to send you for an MRI of your lower back. And I said, then what do you would you suggess, Well, you might need an epidural or a steroid injection. I'm like, yeah, that's not I'm not interested in that. But anyway, I mean, but he you know, the fact that he said he needs a diagnosis first, I'm like, that's not. That's the other thing Bill about the holistic approach, and especially with homeopathy, it's it's and it often takes clients, a lot of you know, patients to really you know and and really to do a little bit more reading. But the diagnosis is the last and least most important part of a homeopathic and from your perspective, I'm sure or a food based because you know, a diagnosis is used in Western medicine to determine which drugs you're going to use or which surgical approaches you're going to do. But in homeopathy it's not. You know, we use the symptoms of the body being out of balance as our guide to treatment.

15 We don't need a diagnosis, and the body works as a whole, it doesn't work in parts. So when this guy told me about you know, hey, I need an MRI, I need this, I might get it. That's not interesting. Yeah, yeah, I mean we've done We've done numerous shows and parts of shows over the years. You know, at the end of the day, you know, you go through all these all these tests, thousands and thousands of dollars of testing on your animals and even more so on the pet parents, and at the end of the day, the treatment is still going to be exactly what we would have done if you were a doctor in the first place. And you know, completely conturrard to the way we look at it. When you're looking at a root cause and instead of that symptom in more detail, because that's all I really do. You're looking at the symptom in more detail, and they're looking at a single part, you know.

06 And they're looking at pathology, they're looking at the end result of the disease. As we say in homeopathy. You know, the diagnosis or the pathology is not the basis of the treatment. That's Western medicine. That's what it's all about. It. You have to make a diagnosis or the answers on the necropsy or autopsy table. That's where you'll find your reason why you know, a pet or an animal or a person passed away. But it's so far removed from that. They're looking at the end stages of disease or not looking at the actual causes. Yeah, I mean, you know, when you look at it basically, as you get closer to the end of life, especially, you're not looking at a single thing either. You're looking at that again, if you're looking at it holistically. Okay, we had you know, a lot of damage. You're on the liver, we had damage on the kidney. You know, we had malnutrition because of the quality of the flus.

58 And heaven forbid they should ever do a tok screen, you know, to see what poisons are. You know, the hundreds of poisons that are in the body. You think that might have something to do with death, you know, or illness or you know, the destruction of the body itself. Yeah, yeah, that's what my you know some of my You know, when homeopathy first came around several hundred years ago, in the time of Samuel o' hannaman. You know, it was a lot easier to treat illness back then because we didn't have the plethor of the magnitude of toxins and the food supplying and the soil and all of that. So people, often homeopaths of the modern world will often say, hey, Hanaman lived in today's world. I mean, he couldn't be able to heal diseases with just the remedies because the toxic load on the body is just astronomical, and so we have to deal with that to heal. So that's why you know, you need you need the foods, the herbs and the detoxing or it's next to nearly impossible to really heal.

56 Yeah, I mean one of the things people don't realize with you know, if you're eating clean, especially clean foods easily appropriate, ethically raised and naturally raised, that you know, it's going to bring in a plethora of nutrients. That's what people I mean, people don't even understand, you know, those are nine thousand supplements. Don't even realize that you should be getting the nutrients from your food. But on the other side of that, every time you eat something different, your body cleanses out other bad stuff, very specific toxins. So when we do a rotational diet, for instance, on a dog, and we do a rotational diet breakfast, lunch, and dinner, we are actually taking out specific toxins. If we took all of so we took our scrambled eggs and our bologney sandwich and our pasta for dinner and mix it all the yether, you get the same amount of nutrients from those foods, but you wouldn't get the cleansing.

48 And you know, the cleansing is probably more important than the actual nutrients in many cases. Yeah, imagine, sure, this is a toxic load. You have to do the cleansing, right. Yeah, you know when I did that call, Oh, I just witched my dog over and he's got diarrhea and vominated four times to go. That's great, that stuff is out of. The body exactly exactly. I mean many years ago, I mean I think I mentioned on a previous show they had a study in one of our vet journals that the more drugs that people threw at dogs young puppies that had parvo virus, that were diagnosed with parbovirus, that the more medicines they threw at those animals to stop the diarrhea, to stop the vomiting, the antibiotics, the more drugs that were these animals were treated with in the emergency clinic, the poor the prognosis. Most of those dogs passed away. The ones that were just hydrated, supported and allowed the body the time to get over the oxic illness that it is, those dogs did much better. So less is more. That's a big pinetive medicine.

56 Well, that's the interesting thing is back when Tarboe came up out back in the seventies, I happen to be in uh In, a company where we used to sell puppies and that sort of thing. And of course everybody get it at the same time because it was man made in a vaccine to sell vaccine, and you know, unfortunately nobody knew what it was for the first three four months, and so we just treated it with the stinkiest diarrhea, bloody diarrhea as you can get, and used a lot of We used a ton of hand of ground beef, a lot of raw honey. You know, you know, and of course the ground beef, we would leave the juices there in extra ling, which was basically a broth, and then you know, make sure that they were drinking you know, clean of course, the water was called cleaner.

44 Back then, we had a ninety nine percent survival rate veterinarians dereloki if they have fifty fifty survival rays because they don't feed them. They put them on ivs and expect that to build it. If you just got if you just cleaned up your whole, where are you going to get nutrients to rebuild You can't. You need to get the nutrients in it. And it doesn't come in a tube. No, it doesn't. It doesn't come in a pill vile or yeah, an injection vile. Yeah, yeah, I mean it was it was just you know, I mean, so many of our even the human treatments and that sort of thing, A lot of the you know, there was a few practitioners back in the seventies and eighties that you know, in livestock we used you know, you basically use nature, you know, and even when in the best areas for growing and stuff like that, they still put out mineral blocks because minerals are the key.

43 Our soil is so deplete today, our foods are so deplete today, and yet we keep you know, heaven forbid you tell your heelepathic practitioner that you put sea salt on your dog's dinner. Yeah, look at you, like you crazy. Exactly As always, the hour goes by way, way, way too fast. Okay, you know you know you're you've been coming down now to my paleop in person meeting. People about saturdays. Yeah, it's a nice We really appreciate it. I enjoy mingling with your great, well informed, educated clientele.

23 And uh, I'm actually picking up now. I'm going to start picking up more and more groceries there. So that's a great thing.
